Trans not changing the 2nd gear

Asked by Sabrina Apr 19, 2016 at 06:10 PM about the 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer EXT LS RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2003 trailblazer with over 300,000 miles on it, but
has never given me any problems. It will crank, and able to
drive it but will not shift into that last gear which is the 2nd
gear???,should I try to see if its fixable???   The same
month I got the oil changed it was checked on the receipt
that all that was OK but when it started acting funny there
was none in there, what should I do???

First you could change the transmission fluid an new filter. An see what that does. But with 300k miles on the transmission sounds like your over drive gear has gone bad! My best advice to you is that. You more then likely need a Rebuilt transmission or a new transmission. Good luck
