My daughter ran out of gas. First time to ever run out of gas. I put gas in, the
car started for just a second then shut back off. All warning lights come on now
when I try to start it l it won't start. It started but when I tried to give it gas it
turned back off.  What should I do?

you more then likely have a clogged fuel filter. running a car till it runs out of fuel is never a good idea as all the crap in the bottom of the tank gets sucked int othe line at that point. Try changing the fuel filter prime the line(turn key to power on 3 times Do Not turn over) then try and start it with your foot pushed down on the gas peddle to give it air. if it still doesn't start then you likely burnt out the fuel pump especialy if it is not humming when priming the line.
