Traction control light on dash stays on and no cruise control

My traction control light on the dash stays on and
do not have cruise control. I took my truck to the
parts store for them to put their computer on and
came up to show a bad brake sensor switch
behind brake peddle. Bought one and installed it.
Still have light on and no cruise control. Can
anyone help?

Did you clear the code, install it correctly, is the part defective? If the check engine light is still on you need to clear the code in order for the cruise control to work.
