My new 2014 NIssan Altima initiated unintended, spontaneous acceleration and is hard to brake. Big electronics problem.

Spontaneous, unintended acceleration and very difficult to brake.  Pls comment.

did it happen more than once? most "sudden acceleration" issues over the years have been due to old folks pushing on the accelerator when they swear they were pushing on the brakes- but this sounds more serious, as that car might have "drive by wire"- an electronic accelerator- I'm not sure, and I don't have the time to google it right now, but it doesn't really matter for your purposes- before you get killed- take that thing back to the dealer- have them tow it- tell them you are too scared to drive it- if this is going to be a future recall, you don't want to be one of the statistics-
