Why wont my tail lights come on?

Question type: General

I unknowingly pressed the trunk release on my key fob and it rained in my trunk. Now my
tail lights will not work. Brake lights, reverse lights, blinkers and even the front parking
lights come on just fine. Checked the bulbs they appear to be fine as well.

I have also checked all the fuses and they are not blown.
