02 v6 mustang won’t go after warm up

Asked by Jason Jul 07, 2019 at 11:46 PM about the 2002 Ford Mustang Coupe

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2002 v6 3.8 l mustang and it works
fine and all with no problem when it’s cold
but when its warmed up (the temp stays at
normal operating temperature) the car wont
go after you turn it off and turn it back off it
tries to die you press the pedal no rpm it tries
to go with the throttle but it only stays around
2,000 and it backfires and sounds like it’s
shooting blanks it does this till you either let it
cool or jump on the highway
