Car engine shuts off when I get to a red light on expectantly

When I was driving normally down the road a red
light came and I hit the brakes like normal and
Suddenly the car shut off but startled me so I tried
to crank it again at the red light andNothing
happened until I put it back in park and try to get in
then it started but it kind of a little glitch to little it
and start immediately it kind of like stuttered then
start

I might be wrong but it sounds like when you were stopping, your gas shifted in your tank got air into your fuel lines. Once your fuel settled, it took your car a little bit to get its fuel pressure back.
