Electrical failure of drivers door controls

Asked by pwdrskyr Feb 05, 2012 at 03:00 PM about the 2003 GMC Yukon SLT 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The switches on the drivers side door started to fail.  Discovered broken and cracked
wires in the rubber boot between the door and body due to repetitive motion of
opening and closing the door.  Where can I buy a new wiring assymbly?

Your best bet would be to get one cheap from a junkyard, second best bet would be rockauto.com. or: http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/category/headlights_-and-_lighting/switches-comma-_relays-comma-_wiring_-and-_components.html << check out that link has a few switches with wiring assembelies. Good Luck !
