hello, my son manually flipped the door latch of my 2018 yukon denali,
thinking he was putting on the child lock. now i cannot shut his door because i
cannot get the latch to flip back. have pressed every unlock button in the car
and on the FOB. held them down, tried to manually flip it back but it is securely
stuck. i need help!

Someone posted a suggestion...I can’t even remember it now, unfortunately! It involved a screwdriver I think....super easy and successful. I don’t know why their post is gone....

Stick the screwdriver in the latch and at the same time open the door and push latch down

Stick a screwdriver in the round part of the door latch, and work the inside door handle at the same time prying back with the screwdriver.

So you have to push that black thing down under the latch and then pull the door handle
