Selling Car through CarGurus

Asked by Guru7KCPG Jul 13, 2020 at 10:21 AM about the 2014 Nissan Rogue SL AWD

Question type: Car Selling & Trading In

I’m looking to sell my car through this website. I still
owe a small loan though. I’ve read that CarGurus
will take care of the loan and making sure the car’s
title is transferred to the buyer correctly. What I’d
like to know is who is responsible for making sure
the car gets to the purchaser? I have vanity license
plates, so I am keeping them. That means the
purchaser will receive the car without plates. Are
they responsible for registering and getting
temporary plates?

Lien transactions for privately sold vehicles was a service that we were previously able to offer through our partner, AUTOPAY. However, due to the current situation, I’m afraid they are no longer able to process lien transactions at this time.
