Anyone have any ideas as to why my truck is not running right?

Asked by GuruFH6P5 Apr 25, 2020 at 08:06 PM about the 2002 GMC Sonoma SLS Ext Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

my 02 sonoma is bogging down while pulling a hill
and rattling and throwing random miss fire and
mass air flow sensor codes......just replaced the
mafs for the second time and plugs/cap/rotor.
Checked the fuel pressure and thats fine
Im dont want to take it to a mechanic to fix this.
Any ideas?

Maybe a plugged up catalytic converter. A muffler shop can do a back pressure test.
