My 2014 c class broke down 4 times with fuel issues, both low and high fuel pressure pumps were replaced, dealer is blaming me for tampering? what are other causes? ethanol?

Mercedes replaced the 2014 with a 2015 which broke down with 249 miles on it. They say the gas (which was from their dealership) was cloudy and the fuel screen deteriorated and left white flakes going thru the fuel system. Only 1/2 tank of gas was used. what would cause these issues? Have only gotten premium gas, don't know where to turn or how to have fuel sample I have checked to exonerate myself. HELP

I would try taking it to another mercedes dealer and see what they say. I would tell them the issues you have had with the car but leave out the drama you had at the other dealership. If that doesnt work I would contact a Mercedes rep and file a complaint. The car itself could be a lemon, its already had multiple documented issues. Let us know what happens.

Jim you might be on to something but usually Mercedes lock the fuel door when the car is locked.
