Why does my AC Belt keep breakinf

Replaced AC belt and it broke again after two weeks. It squeaked now and then.

Sounds like you may have an idler or tensioner pulley going bad.

I replaced my belt on 02 Tahoe yesterday and put freon in the system air was blowing cold. When I turned on the rear air the belt broke anyone have any suggestions.

He had to replace the compressor oil buildup back into the compressor locks up creates a Hydro lock it’s a bed designed were oil goes to the lowest point of the compressor on the engine
