my headlights on my 2000 yukon turn on but will not stay on checked all the relays and fuses but nothing

my headlights turn on with the switch but after a few seconds they turn off.the parking lights stay on and the high beams work when ever i turn them on

it was the lever for the high beams and signal lights it was shorting out shutting off the lights

Did you have to replace the lever? Mine just started doing this last night after I switched to highbeam. Now no low beam.
