2015 Subaru Forester power windows never works when temperature goes down.It works if the heat on for an hour or drive at least 100 miles
How good of a battery do you have?
If it were me with this issue.. I would try jumping cables to your honda, as if you needed a jump, turn on your subaru, and then see if the window works better. My battery in one of my subies was getting weak and I thought the window motor was going out. I reconditioned the battery and it operates fast, like new. It is just a theory. Do the other windows do the same? If my help isn't enough, I would recommend going to real forums, subaruforester.org, NASIOC, etc. Best regards,
I bought a brand new 2015 Forester. Same problem None of the windows goes down in cold weather. Keep the heat on for an hour then the windows starts working except the driver side one. The heating system is also very poor. It takes at least half an hour to warm up. Defrost is also horrible.
Have 2017 Forester. It's been so cold that I didn't think of opening windows. Today it was about 25 and none of the windows would open. Finally the front windows opened. The back still haven't opened. Also door seemed to be frozen shut. Took a lot of effort to open. This reminds me of a 2000 Taurus I had. Not good memories. Good thing I have heated seats as it takes quite a while to warm up. I Like the car otherwise but this is very annoying, especially for a new car.
