check engine light ..what to do?

Got check engine light on 2015 forester. Was idling in hot weather for a few
minutes and came on...I tried startup engine after a few hours and still on.. A/c
still works. what now?

Scan the code , get the definition and post back here , The clerk at auto zoo is not a technician , they sell parts . Tell us exactly what's going on

Your local auto parts store might be able to scan it for you. Most stores will do it for free. When you get the trouble codes you can go from there. Feel free to post the codes here and we can help further. Jim
