Hazard flasher location 1988 GMC Vandura

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 1988 didn't come with the hazard flasher so I'm looking
where to plug my new flasher in . Is it under the dash
somewhere near the steering column ??? The guy I bought
it from said it was under the dash he took it out and used it
for his directionals .

I looked everywhere underneath the dash and there was no
wiring connector to plug the flasher into . Does anyone
know specific location for the hazard relay ???

On GMs the hazard flasher usually plugs directly into the fuse box under the dash on the driver's side near the steering column. Hope that helps! Jim

Ok, look for a two way female connector under the dash. The plug will resemble a V or L. Hope that helps. Jim

Found it , I couldn't see it but I dropped the steering column and that helped . Had to feel around and found the L shaped connector . Thanks again Jim
