Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1999 gmc suburban... the driverside rear turn
signal and brake light does not work....
Passenger side works fine.
Have replaced the entire tail light assembly, all wires to the
assembly, replaced relay, all fuses are good.  Still does not
work???

Your lower brake lamp and turn signal use the same bulb filament, just not at the same time. Have you checked voltage and ground for the lamp in question? You can use a test light. See the yellow wire to lamp, in diagram, that is voltage for stop or turn. The bottom black wire is ground, you need both. Your lower brake lamps are wired through multifunction switch as well as turn. Might be something wrong with multifunction switch, If the wiring circuit is ok? good luck
