Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The front windows on my 1988 suburban
are really really slow.  Can I just lube them
up or do I need to replace the motors?

Motors, the motor/regulator assembly will come out together from an opening in the door. Trust me, it doesn't look like it but it will fold up and squeeze through.

I've done worse, but it's not fun. Just don't bend it. I love the next body style chevy, the whole thing is on a plate you just unbolt.

I'm not looking forward to it, I may just wait until they stop working all together. Thanks for the info.

take the door panels off and lube all moving parts..grab the window and help assist it up and down several times with the power on assist..i dont see why you would need new motors ! ?
