15 equinox shuts off at stop sign

Asked by BlueVista608 Dec 27, 2020 at 09:54 AM about the 2015 Chevrolet Equinox 2LT AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

A 2015 Equinox shuts off at a stop sign or
extremely low speed. Solenoids? I bought both but
as I'm reading it could be other issues. Nothing
shakes or shimmies just shuts off at idle.

i'm not sure what solenoids your talking about? Sounds like you have idle issues. I believe you have tac--throttle actuator control. I'd check for trouble codes relating to that system. You can clean the throttle bore and around throttle plate, see if it helps? Don't force the throttle plate. just my opinion.

Go to u tube its several ways to solve the problem I just found out and disconnected a wire!
