2015 Chevy Equinox engine trouble code P0010

Your Equinox and many other cars have Variable Valve Timing and when the actuator gets gummed up or breaks you will get a code P0010 and symptoms of it running poorly. Before replacing the VVT actuator, I would try a fresh oil change hoping the detergents will clean it up and it works again. Then start doing more frequent oil changes. If you have been lax on oil changes, do an oil change first. That engine likes semi-synthetic oil. Good Luck
