My 2015 Terrain hatch will not stay open.
My 2015 Terrain hatch will not stay open. Tried button on liftgate, button
inside vehicle, and on remote? Just stopped working; could there be
something blocking the sensor or telling it to shut as soon as it opens?
Earlier models and later models have been recalled for this problem, the
Acadia has been recalled for this since they use the same strut to open the
liftgate with. I may have to look at different auto maker for my next vehicle if
this is the new GM service to their customers...disappointed as I have been a
loyal customer of GM since the '70's starting with my '78 Phoenix, '84
Skyhawk, '90 Bonneville SSE, '00 GMC Sierra, '04 GMC Envoy, and now my
'15 Terrain (with its serious problem since you can no longer open it or use
the cargo area because you can't even open manually).
Received a different recall but none on the liftgate.
