My truck won't run right when the vehicle gets warm.

My 1986 Jeep Camanche X 2.5L 4 cylinder truck Idles fine and starts fine, but as soon as it warms up it starts running bad. When I put the vehicle in Neutral And rev the engine it acts like it has no power, spits, and sputter. Does anyone have an Idea?

I would start with a simple tune up: spark plugs, gas filter, air filter. Then check the flapper on the air cleaner intake. It is a thermal valve on the air cleaner housing that directs hot air from the manifold, into the intake during cold start ups. But make sure that is open to bring in cold air once the engine is warmed up. Not sure this engine has one, but check it out. Also scan for codes.
Nicholas, hmm... Well one thing is to make sure the choke is not staying on/sticking because that would certainly make it run ruff it were sticking. Do a hot engine compression check to make sure the head gasket isn't cross-firing between cylinders. This isn't hard to do. Just do a search on how to do it. A quick scouting trip seems to suggest that it's probably a problem with the throttle body fuel injection system. See the link for more on this.
