2015 Chevrolet Impala LT key fob wont lock car, but will unlock and open trunk

I just bought a  2015 Chevy Impala. I have had it for a few short days now,
and everything on the key fob was working until day 4 of owning the
vehicle. Now the doors will not lock with the key fob, so due to this issue I
can't use the remote start feature.
The unlock button works and the trunk button works, just not the lock
button. I only have one key fob currently still waiting on the second one to
be mailed to me.
