2015 Buick LaCrosse engine shut off while driving.

Asked by GuruDYL7F Aug 12, 2017 at 07:38 PM about the 2015 Buick LaCrosse Premium I FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

On our 2015 LaCrosse what would make the fuse
in the fuse block 20914309 blow our while we were
driving the car. The car died while driving and
would not start again.  After towed and fixed, by
replacing the fuse block, it seems to be running
fine. I am interested why or how that might have
happen so to avoid it when on the road.

I saw a video about this and it affected the fuel pump. It was touching some metal under back seat and melted part of fuse block. I believe this was a recall? Fuse block had to have a guard from touching metal seat fastener.
