2015 Volkswagen CC 2.0 won't crank or start.

Asked by Guru9622XR Jan 31, 2025 at 09:59 PM about the 2015 Volkswagen CC 2.0T Sport FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2015 Volkswagen CC 2.0 won't crank or start. The dashboard says press brake
to start. But I'm pressing the brake. I replaced the brake switch but nothing. The
brake lights only come on with the key on. If I press the brake without the key
the brake lights don't come on. The green light in the dash goes off when I
press the brake but the car keeps telling me to press the brake to start.
