A system update caused bearing to fail? Not possible. What proof do you have?

Lazy car owner failing to raise the hood, pull the dip stick and check the oil level has ruined many "bearings", an system update has not.

my Car had a reacall and it is being covered by Kia. And it does not fall under the 2012- 2014 Kia engine recall. And I am not under warranty so this is really something that happened and I’m trying to warn people who have a 2015.

Here is the letter they are sending out!

Kia is a joke. My engine bearing spun and locked at 103k all perfect maintenance.
