Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I bought a 2015 Ford Expedition from National Choice Auto LLC last
Thursday, August 10, 2023. We found that the car had a hesitation when we
tried it out. The salsman sdaid they would fix it because they had been
working on it. They told us it was fixed before we bought it.  We couldn't even
get it up our driveway when we got home. We did buy it as is and didn't pay
them $495 for a 3 month warranty.  We took the man's word and now know
that he lied to us. Who would think that a car just bought would go bad on
the same day of purchase. We have not been able to ride that car since
Thursday. We have had to put the car in a mechanic's garage. Who knows
how much that's gonna cost.  I recommend that Carcarus and also Car Fax
stop advertising NCA's vehicles. We can't upload a picture of the vehicle
because it's in the garage for repair.

This is exactly why you never ever buy a vehicle that has a problem until after it's fixed, and you've driven it again to be sure it's fixed. Buying a vehicle as is lets the Dealer off the hook. But you can talk to your local Office of Consumer Affairs and see if you can do anything. Good luck to you!! Jim

I know now that we should've driven the car again. But we took the man's word when he said it was fixed.
