Will an alternator from a 2003
ford ranger work on a 2002 ford
ranger?

Answer is yes. Things to look for, on the alternator itself its stamped with a number (ie; 90a, 110a, 150a, etc..) Just make sure the amps are the same. Higher amp won't really make much difference, unless its not a drastic change. You don't wann over charge ypur battery.
