Is just one review, and at https://www.google.com/search?q=+2015+Jeep+Cherokee+Trailhawk+4WD+&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8 -- there are a dozen more and no transmission complaints
Yup. It’s true for me. I absolutely love my Jeep but at 48,000 km I randomly got a ‘SERVICE TRANSMISSION’ and ‘SERVICE PARK BRAKE’ error message. It’s now happened two weeks in a row. First attempt they updated a computer code. Second time they replaced the computer. I’m sos cares it’s going to keep happening
I have a 2018 Jeep grand Cherokee trail hawk. I was having transmission issues and got stuck on a major highway. They are putting a new transmission in. Not that happy
Had To have the transmission replace on my new 2014 trailhead 2 months after I bought it new
thought by 2019 they would have the transmission issue fixed but nope bought a 2019 Cherokee TH with 6 miles on it and noticed a noise everytime i came to a stop took it back to dealer and they kept my car for a day and said it is going to need a new transmission with only 134 miles on it now they kept my jeep for a whole month literally got it back day before my first payment was due but got reimbursed that payment money
i have a 2018 trailhawk and it was misfiring cylinders... Nice and safe huh??? never again will i get another JEEP.
I bought a 2017 TH and at 300 miles it started launching forward really abruptly when I came to a stop. They said it was a software update. They fixed that, but now when I start my jeep it does not shift gears when it’s cold and I get a really abrupt shit at like 20-25 miles phr. This only happens when I first take off in the morning. If I stop right after and step on the gas again it is very smooth. Have gone to the dealer several times, but they say they need to see a light come up to know what the issue is. They just do a transmission reeling and hand it right back to me. I don’t know what to do, but my neck is all fked up because of it. I would not recommend buying one. They are amazing in everything else, but having mechanical issues with a brand new car is not very fun.
i have a sensor saying that my jeep can't start because it says the car is in park? What do I do?
I have a 2015 Jeep Trailhawk and have had multiple issues (bumps, grinds and groans) with the transmission. I’ve taken it back to the dealership but since the transmission isn’t doing anything at the time they tell me there is nothing they can do. The latest incident the car wouldn’t even move and the transmission light went on along with a warning light telling me to have the transmission serviced, after a few minutes I finally was able to move the vehicle. I had to wait two days before the dealership could look at it and by the time I got it there the warning lights were all gone and the transmission is working fine. So again they tell me there is nothing they can do. My powertrain warranty expires in about two months.
2014 Cherokee trailhawk same as all above. Came here for possible answers and now more worried than ever. It keeps happening, I'm finally able to get it in, they either reset the computer or there's nothing wrong at that time. I can't keep giving up my vehicle for a week at a time with no resolution. I'm in Phoenix and have noticed this mostly happens when it's super hot, I chalk it up to the computer being overheated. I've had the transmission computer module recalled/replaced, hoped that would end this but stuck at home again today, "Service Park Brake" flashing at me, just going to wait it out again... This is my third Jeep, I think I'm going back to a 99 Cherokee Sport with a refurbished engine, I'm done with these computers.
