The warning light with the "A"and the circular symbol with arrow came on. What does it mean?

It means stop/start is not engaged because your battery does not have enough charge to guarantee the car will restart. Do not worry, the system is rubbish best get rid of it. https://youtu.be/x9UML_jDKL0
