How do you escalate a serious problem with Car Gurus Website.
My car was sold. The buyer traveled via airlines to pick up my Jeep Grand
Cherokee - only to find out that the Jeep did not have a diesel engine. When
I listed the car, I did not select the diesel engine option, but when viewing my
listing after this disastMer - the CarGurus website had changed the engine to
diesel. I corrected it immediately, and when editing my listing again - it once
again changed the engine to diesel. The sale fell through and the buyer had
to buy another last minute one way ticket home. It cost him time and airfare. I
felt terrible and ended up sending him a $500 check to help with the airfare.
This is a Car Gurus issue and I want to know how to escalate. The problem
is still there. Tonight I went to edit my listing and it once again switched the
engine selection to diesel!
