Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2015 mini cooper countryman with 51k miles. The
engine light came on with no other issues. I bought the car
Aug 2018 with 30k miles. What could be the issue??

The issue could be almost anything. Have an auto parts store read the trouble codes, write them down and post them here.

Will do tomorrow. My husband owns an auto shop. Be on standby. :)(

I am in the medical field, not cars. It just appeared today on my way to work. I dont see him until tonight. We work opposite shifts. No need to be nasty.
