Type in the last 7 of the VIN on bimmer.work for a little more info/build sheet. I would assume from the "00001" that it's possible, also being a '92. It wouldn't hurt to start a thread on a BMW forum like bimmerfest.com or bimmerforums.com. The E36 guys over there would know better.
