Vibration when breaking

Asked by Deana Apr 09, 2017 at 02:53 PM about the 2015 BMW 5 Series 535i Sedan RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I drive a 2015 BMW 535. I just took it into the
dealership for service and they rotated the rotors
and put on new front break pads. I noticed today
that when I am going faster and need to break there
is a vibration. Do the rotors and the new break pads
need time to break in? I just want to make sure I am
not doing damage to the car.

I am assuming they machine turned them since it only has 32K miles on it, so I know they didn't replace the rotors. Thank you for your help, I will go back to the dealership.

its probably the rotors that are bad. don't drive for too long. sometimes when you even get new ones they come defective.
