how do I change the stop light switch,do I need any special tool?

couple of days ago,noticed both of my stop lights not working
check the fuse box,all appear ok. light bulbs also are ok

If you haven't checked the switch, do that before you change it. Too many Times non-faulty components get 're-placed. Also if you have trailer lights hookup follow those wires back where they hook into the truck wires. Those wires in and or around that area are good spots to check especially with a test light.

mrm is right - no return on electrical parts. Check for power in and out of the switch.
