Question type: Maintenance & Repair

i own a 2001 ford escape, while driving my O/D light started flashing , then
engine light came on ,but no change in performance..the next day when i
stopped at a stop sign it wouldn't move and had to be towed..code on
computer said my Torque converter clutch solenoid was stuck in the "off " I
was told this wouldn't stop my truck from moving? when I disconnected wire
harness from the transmission i noticed it had water and coolant in it ,then
noticed i had a leaking heater hose right above it..i dried it all out and
repaired heater hose but truck still won't engage? what could be the
problem?

I don't think the pump is coming on cause the fluid is showing high on the dip stick?
