My high beams aren't really "high beams". Does this vehicle have high beams?
I have had this 2015 Hyundai Tucson for 3 weeks, and have yet to see a
high beam that I am accustomed to. When I turn them on, I hear the relays
under the hood clicking (and feel them clicking), and there is a "slight"
change in the beam pattern that I see cast on my garage door (which I use
for testing). But there is literally no difference while driving, except that my
fog lamps turn off when my highs are on.
I am new to the projector lamps as well as Hyundai Tucsons. Do these
vehicles have poor lighting or am I missing something?
I have replaced the headlamps and all the fuses are good. The 9012
single-filament halogen bulb is new to me too. I'm not sure how high AND
low beams are produced from a single filament.
Can anyone "shed some light" on this for me? Sorry for the intended pun.
:)
