Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So I am considering buying a very nice 2015 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid Limited.
It is a repo and it is at the Hyundai dealer. It is gorgeous inside and out. I am
concerned because it has 100,340 miles on it and it is a hybrid. Is this a
concern? I read online that these cars are good. My current 2009 Hyudai
Sonata has 200,950 miles on it and runs like a champ. I just don't want to
buy a hybrid and it go out on me. THANK YOU!!

I would stay away from it. I love the car it’s beautiful inside and out. Awesome features for less money is a plus, however all of these are known for engine failure/ transmission failure. I’m having issues non stop and the dealership isn’t wanting to help. I found a class Action lawsuit on these as well. I’ll post a link.

I will just be upfront. I have a Hyundai Sonata Hybrid and I have had nothing but problems once it reached past 110k miles. I have had to replaces the transmission...which cost 5k and the engine....which cost 10k! I went ahead and paid the 5k for the transmission, but went with a used engine and paid 3k for now. Even though you’d save money monthly for gas, you will turn around and use it for repairs. My car looks exactly like this and is black. Looks can fool you....Mine was also in a class action lawsuit and the dealership wouldnt help me, so I had to take it to where I originally got it from.
