I can't turn off the courtesy lights

Hello dbwhipple-- Your 1996 GMC Jimmy has a problem in the electrical system that controls your courtesy lights. It could be a switch, it could be a wire. A positive diagnosis is impossible with the information you have given me. If you don't consider yourself a good mechanic, have a pro look at it. Electrical problems are easily compounded by sub-standard work. Good luck from Bovan.

hey my courtesy lights wont come on. how do i get them back on. no fuses are blown. my back hatch also doesnt work. i push the button but no sound is made at all. AND ugh my passenger window doesnt work. all of this worked when i bought my car two months aho. its been so frustrating. any help would be excellent. Thank you taylor

take your floor mats up in the front on both sides and check the wires that run along the floor.You prob.. have some broken wires.

my gmc jimmy dome lights wont turn off.. this kills my battery as soon as i get a jump again
