Bought a new ignition lock cylinder

I plug in the programmer in obd2 I insert the non-
transponder key into the new lock  while holding
the original key up against the non transponder
into simultaneously until it beeps once then I turn
back get the non transponder key but it will not
come out to move onto the next step what should I
do to move on the programming?

Have the vehicle towed to your local Ford Dealer for proper repairs!! You can't program keys yourself to a Ford Product unless you have two working keys already! Jim

Very sorry to hear that. Vehicle security systems are designed so it's virtually impossible for the do it yourselfer to repair. The thought process is that if anyone can do it, a car thief can too. You can try your local locksmith. They might be cheaper than the Dealer. But I've heard some horror stories from people who go that route. Good luck to you! Jim
