Stalling when I add gas, and sometimes at stop lights, 61k, 2015 Cruze

Asked by Juliscruze Feb 18, 2018 at 08:11 PM about the 2015 Chevrolet Cruze LS Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car has recently started stalling and having a hard time
starting when I put gas in the tank. I don’t add more than
when the gas pump clicks. I have 61k miles on my car
with 100k miles powertrain warranty. Is this an issue to be
resolved through warranty? What is wrong? Check engine
light has been on for a few months, and at codes
autozone pulled were for emission and lean brake system.
Any advice? Cost of repair?

You have a EVAP problem. The EVAP is the gas tank venting system.
