2001 Ford Escort ZX2. Where's the PCV valve?

I can't find it and I'm having trouble getting any reference. Help is appreciated.

In the pic it should be routed from the back of the engine to under the exhaust in front, just under the coil. It has a split where it goes from hard plastic line to a rubber one, the valve is at the split. Or it's supposed to be.
