Is this usual amount of repairs normal

Asked by edleven1 Jul 20, 2020 at 04:55 PM about the 2015 Volvo XC60 2015.5 T5 Premier AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I bought a used 2015 Volvo XC60 T5 Premium 2.0 ltr. Has 80,000 miles. Had
to replace A/C compressor, oil separator and breather hose, 4 fuel injectors,
plus spark plugs.  Is this usual amount of repairs for this car?  Been well
maintained, and bought it from a very reputable dealer which came with one
year maintenance plan and 3 month warranty.  Now all these expensive
repairs?  Is this normal

At the 80K mark, I would expect some repairs. Not the AC compressor or fuel injectors. The other parts yes. You must have been at the dealer, they like pushing repairs.

The vehicle does have higher than average mileage so it may have been driven hard. Pay attention to how much it's costing you for repairs. You might want to trade it before you get too far down the rabbit hole!! Hope that helps! Jim
