Air Conditioner issue

2015 Nissan frontier A/C works fine if the temperature is moved to the coolest
position in the selector on the dash, if I move it to adjust the temperature to
have somewhere in-between, it gets hot.

Air temp sensor bad, incorrect selector settings aka bad control panel, stuck blend air doors.
