Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The powered tailgate will not open at all. Trying
from key, tailgate switch and the switch to the left

I am having the same problem on my 2017. and suspect the park switch in the gear shifter. going to dealer on Monday, as I am still under warranty. Sux no manual over ride other than climbing in the hatch.

Dealership replaced latch under extended warranty. Working with Nissan about deductible. We have just over 54K mi. This shouldn’t have been an issue. Garage kept.

Nissan refuses to step up. Canned response to a genuine concern. Hope you have the extended warranty!

What was the estimate to fix it? Mine is not working either and it’s out of guarantee!
