2015 Rogue "Chassis System Control Error"

Asked by Chris Dec 31, 2021 at 01:25 PM about the 2015 Nissan Rogue SL AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just had this happen yesterday, vehicle would not drive and the chassis
system control error message came up. Took the car to the dealer and they
came back with we needed a new transmission? There has not been one
indication of a transmission issue and the vehicle has under 75K miles. Has
anyone else ever heard of this diagnosis?

Without having more information and the trouble codes. I know your vehicle has a CVT transmission and Nissan CVT's are not known for their reliability and commonly have issues with low miles. If you don't trust or agree with the dealer diagnosis, I would suggest you get a second opinion from a local garage.
