2015 Camry strange humming sound

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Car sits in the garage all night, start it up in the morning and let it idle for
about 10 seconds.  Put in drive and get onto the street and after going about
2 blocks a strange electric motor runs for about 2 seconds.  It sounds like
one of the window motors running except it seems to be coming from under
the hood or elsewhere.  I've owned this car since new and I don't recall ever
hearing this before.  Any ideas what this might be?  Thanks.

I'd like to add that nothing else electrical is turned on, no A/C or heat, not even the radio. My dad was a mechanic and he taught us all of us to keep an ear open when driving in order to detect when things might be starting to turn for the worse and that's advice I live and drive by.

Yes, I did find the reason why it was doing this. The battery was becoming weak and after replacing it that sound went away. I just traded my Camry in for a new Highlander since we have other needs now.
