What would I check for? Sorry don't really know much about these things
Look under hood,and check these fuse,s,,and relay,s
It will tell you under the cover what they are,you mainly want to find, ecm,and main.
All so make sure cable,s on battery are tight, and down to starter, some truck ,s have fuse link in hot lead at the starter, may check it all so.
Your starter may be going bad. The next time it dies in your driveway, get under the vehicle and locate the starter. Have someone hold the key to the ON position, while they are doing that, rap on the starter with a hammer. If the vehicle starts up, that means the starter is going bad and needs to be changed out. If the vehicle fails to start, the problem may be your distributor. There is a pick up coil in the bottom that will fail and cause your exact condition. I have had two toyotas with the bad distributor. Car would start fine, then I would get someplace, go to start it, and nothing.
