car won't start/keep running

Last Sunday I stopped for gas and drove for
about 5 miles.. arrived at my destination and
cut the car off about 10 mind of it sitting I
turned it back on and it started but was
jerking and hesitating then it cut off...I tried
it again and it tried to turn ovet and I gave it
gas.... then it just stopped ed now it won't
turn over or anything......what could it
be...HELP!!!!
